Our History
SWAITEX was born in 2013 from a vision to stimulate economic activity in the Erongo Region. What started as a modest gathering in a tent at a municipality parking lot has evolved into a landmark event on the African business calendar.
Over the past decade, SWAITEX has expanded its reach, moving from a regional showcase to an international expo that attracts exhibitors and delegates from across the SADC region and beyond. As we approach our 10th Milestone Edition in 2026, SWAITEX continues to redefine the standards of trade facilitation in Namibia.
